PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system and a reception terminal capable of determining position and movement direction of a reception terminal.SOLUTION: The navigation system includes: a radio unit 100 that repeatedly transmits a unique radio ID to a first area W1; and at least one luminaire 200 that illuminates a visible light area A1 which is inside the radio area W1 and narrower than the radio area W1, and repeatedly transmits a visible light ID while overlapping the unique radio ID with an illumination light.
