PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body structure for a spacecraft, which reliably protects a spacecraft body against vibrations and impacts at a launch, and which achieves significant weight saving and manufacturing cost reduction.SOLUTION: A body structure 12 is made of a resin (CFRP) that is reinforced with carbon fibers. The resin constituting the body structure 12 is a PEEK (polyether ether ketone) resin. The body structure 12 is formed in a truncated octahedron shape. The thickness of the body structure 12 is 2 mm. The body structure 12 comprises shells 14 and 15, and both of them butt against each other.
