PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a drive request and improve cornering performance.SOLUTION: A drive force control device for an electric vehicle 1 comprising at least two motors 2L, 2R for independently driving left and right wheels 4L, 4R, comprises detection means 15, 16 for detection drive operation by a driver. The drive force control device further comprises control means 10 for calculating request torque Tr of the driver, torque difference ΔT applied to the left and right wheels 4L, 4R during cornering, and left and right torque difference maintaining torques TL, TRof the motors 2L, 2R when the request torque Tr is generated in the state that the torque difference ΔT is maintained, and based on the torque difference maintaining torques TL, TR, controlling the motors 2L, 2R. When a value on a turning outside wheel side, out of the torque difference maintaining torques TL, TRexceeds maximum output torque of the motors 2L, 2R, the control means 10 determines priority of the request torque mode for generating the request torque Tr and the torque difference mode for generating the torque difference ΔT, according to the drive operation detected by the detection means 15, 16.

    【課題】ドライバ要求を実現しながらコーナリング性能を向上させる。【解決手段】左右輪4L,4Rを独立して駆動する少なくとも二つの電動機2L,2Rを備えた電動車両1の駆動力制御装置であって、ドライバによる運転操作を検出する検出手段15,16を備える。さらに、ドライバの要求トルクTrとコーナリング時に左右輪4L,4Rに与えるトルク差ΔTと、トルク差ΔTを維持した状態で要求トルクTrを発生させる場合の電動機2L,2Rの左右のトルク差維持トルクTLK,TRKとを演算し、トルク差維持トルクTLK,TRKに基づき電動機2L,2Rを制御する制御手段10を備える。制御手段10は、トルク差維持トルクTLK,TRKのうち旋回外輪側の値が電動機2L,2Rの最大出力トルクを超える場合、検出手段15,16で検出された運転操作に応じて、要求トルクTrを発生させる要求トルクモードとトルク差ΔTを発生させるトルク差モードとの優先度を決定する。【選択図】図1
