PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular collision detecting device which improves collision detection accuracy by forming a clearance on a vehicle upper side or lower side of a detecting tube member in a groove portion formed in a bumper absorber.SOLUTION: A vehicular collision detecting device 1 has a bumper absorber 2 disposed on a vehicle front side of a bumper reinforcement in a bumper of a vehicle; a detecting tube member 3 which is installed in a groove portion 2a formed in the bumper absorber 2 in vehicle width direction and which has a hollow portion 3a formed inside; and a pressure sensor which detects pressure in the hollow portion 3a of the detecting tube member 3. On the basis of a result of pressure detection by the pressure sensor, a collision of an article (a pedestrian) with a bumper is detected. In the groove portion 2a, recessed portions 21 are formed in inner wall surfaces on a vehicle upper side and a lower side of the detecting tube member 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】バンパアブソーバに形成された溝部内における検出用チューブ部材の車両上方側または下方側に隙間を形成して衝突検知精度を向上させた車両用衝突検知装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両用衝突検知装置1は、車両のバンパ内においてバンパレインフォースメントの車両前方側に配設されたバンパアブソーバ2と、バンパアブソーバ2に車幅方向に沿って形成された溝部2aに装着される内部に中空部3aが形成された検出用チューブ部材3と、検出用チューブ部材3の中空部3a内の圧力を検出する圧力センサとを有し、圧力センサによる圧力検出結果に基づいてバンパへの物体(歩行者)の衝突を検知する。そして、溝部2aには、検出用チューブ部材3の車両上方側及び下方側の内壁面に凹部21が形成されている。【選択図】図5
