PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaporator capable of suppressing degradation of performance in being used in an inclined state.SOLUTION: The inside of leeward-side and windward-side header portions 5 of a first header tank 2 of an evaporator 1 is divided into a plurality of sections 40, 41, 42 by division members 43, 44, and farthest tube groups 15C of leeward-side and windward-side tube rows 15 are communicated with the farthest sections 42. The farthest sections 42 of both header portions 5 are divided into an upper first space 42a and a lower second space 42b by a diversion control portion 57, and both spaces 42a, 42b are communicated through a refrigerant passing hole 52 formed on the diversion control portion 57. The first space 42a of the farthest section 42 of the leeward-side upper header portion 5 and a first space 41a of the section 41 adjacent thereto are communicated through a communication hole 47 formed at a lower side with respect to the diversion control portion 57 of the division member 44, and the second space 42b of the farthest section 42 and the second space 42b of the section 41 adjacent thereto are kept in a non-communication state by a blocking portion 59 disposed at an upper side with respect to the diversion control portion 57 of the division member 43.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】傾斜状態で用いた際の性能低下を抑制しうるエバポレータを提供する。【解決手段】エバポレータ1の第1ヘッダタンク2の風下側および風上側ヘッダ部5内を、分割部材43,44により複数の区画40,41,42に分割し、最遠区画42に、風下側および風上側チューブ列15の最遠チューブ群15Cを通じさせる。両ヘッダ部5の最遠区画42を分流制御部57によって、上側の第1空間42aと下側の第2空間42bとに分け、両空間42a,42bを分流制御部57に形成された冷媒通過穴52を介して通じさせる。風下側上ヘッダ部5の最遠区画42の第1空間42aと、これに隣接する区画41の第1空間41aとを、分割部材44の分流制御部57よりも下側に設けられた連通穴47を介して通じさせるとともに、最遠区画42の第2空間42bと、これに隣接する区画41の第2空間42bとを、分割部材43の分流制御部57よりも上側に設けられた遮断部59により非連通状態とする。【選択図】図2
