PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a vehicular four-wheel drive apparatus, the device capable of suppressing abnormal noise generated during travel on two-wheel drive, without compromising fuel economy.SOLUTION: In a vehicular four-wheel drive apparatus 10 including a transmission torque-adjustable first clutch 28 for selectively connecting and disconnecting a rear wheel 14 to and from an engine 10, and a second clutch 36 for connecting and disconnecting the rear wheel 14 to and from the first clutch 28, the first clutch 28 is semi-engaged during travel on two-wheel drive, in which the first clutch 28 and second clutch 36 are disengaged. This enables a play in gears constituting the four-wheel drive apparatus 10 to be reduced without allowing the same rotation state as during travel on four-wheel drive, thus balancing between suppression of abnormal noise and that of deterioration of fuel economy.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】燃費の悪化を招くことなく2輪駆動走行中に発生する異音を抑制できる車両用4輪駆動装置の制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】エンジン10と後輪14との間のを選択的に断接する伝達トルクを調整可能な第1クラッチ28と、第1クラッチ28と後輪14との間を断接する第2クラッチ36とを備えた車両用4輪駆動装置10において、第1クラッチ28および第2クラッチ36を解放した2輪駆動走行中に、第1クラッチ28を半係合する。これより、4輪駆動走行時と同じ回転状態となることなく4輪駆動装置10を構成するギヤのガタが詰められるため、異音発生の抑制と燃費悪化の抑制とを両立することができる。【選択図】図5
