PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator which can be locked by energizing the vertical motions of a rod body connected to an emergency stop mechanism, thereby to perform the adjustment work of an energizing force easily.SOLUTION: According to the invention, there is provided an elevator comprising: an emergency stop mechanism for stopping a cage emergently; a link member hinged to a cage for transmitting a pull-up force to the emergency stop mechanism; and a lock mechanism for blocking the rotation of the link member at a normal time of the link member thereby to lock and for allowing the rotation at an emergency time. The lock mechanism includes: a rod body having two ends vertically movable in association with the operation of the link member and an abutted face curved smoothly to be vertically continued to a side face between the two ends and reduced in diameter; a push member having a curved abutment face to be pushed onto the abutted face of the rod body; and an elastic body for biasing the abutment face of the push member horizontally to the abutted face of the rod body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】非常止め機構に連結された棒体の上下動を付勢してロックでき、付勢力の調整作業を容易に行うことが可能なエレベータを提供する。【解決手段】本発明によれば、かごを非常停止させる非常止め機構と、非常止め機構へ引上げ力を伝達するかごに枢支されたリンク部材と、リンク部材の平常時における回動を阻止してロックし非常時においてこの回動を許容するロック装置とを備え、ロック装置は、リンク部材の動作に連動して上下する両端および両端間の側面に上下方向で連続して滑らかに湾曲して縮径した被当接面を有する棒体と、棒体の被当接面に押し付けられる湾曲した当接面を有する押し付け部材と、押し付け部材の当接面を棒体の被当接面へ水平方向に付勢する弾性体とを備えたエレベータが提供される。【選択図】図2
