PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tank type power generation device capable of producing high pressure hydrogen which is mounted on a fuel cell vehicle or the like, produces the high pressure hydrogen, is also capable of generating power by utilizing the hydrogen, does not need a separate fuel cell and is capable of suppressing cost of manufacture of the vehicle, and the fuel cell vehicle.SOLUTION: A partition member 12 partitions the inside of a tank body 11 into two divisions and a solid polymer electrolyte membrane 26 in contact with each of the divisions is included. Supply means 13 is configured to switch and supply water and a gas containing oxygen to one division 24. Electrolytic power generation means 16 includes electrodes 30a and 30b on both surfaces of the solid polymer electrolyte membrane 26 and is provided so as to perform electrolysis by applying voltages to the electrodes 30a and 30b in such a manner that a hydrogen gas is stored in the other division 25 when the supply means 13 supplies the water, and to generate power by reacting the gas and the hydrogen gas in the other division 25 when the supply means 13 supplies the gas containing oxygen.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】燃料電池車両などに搭載して高圧水素を製造するとともに、その水素を利用して発電も行うことができ、別個の燃料電池を必要とせず、車両の製造コストを抑制することができる、高圧水素を製造可能なタンク式発電装置および燃料電池車両を提供する。【解決手段】仕切部材12が、タンク本体11の内部を2つの区画に仕切り、各区画に接する固体高分子電解質膜26を有している。供給手段13が、一方の区画24に水と酸素を有する気体とを切り換えて供給可能に構成されている。電解発電手段16が、固体高分子電解質膜26の両面にそれぞれ電極30a,30bを有し、供給手段13で水が供給されるとき、他方の区画25に水素ガスを貯めるよう、各電極30a,30bに電圧を印加して電気分解可能、かつ、供給手段13で酸素を有する気体が供給されるとき、その気体と他方の区画25の水素ガスとを反応させて発電可能に設けられている。【選択図】図1
