PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle ground speed detection device capable of accurately detecting ground speed even during revolving time.SOLUTION: A vehicle ground speed detection device 50 comprises: a wheel speed sensor 24 for detecting rotation speed v of wheels 5, 8; second storage means 58 for storing radii of the wheels 5, 8 corresponding to a bank angle; and ground speed calculation means 60 for calculating the ground speed V during revolving time. The ground speed calculation means 60 extracts the radii of the wheels 5, 8 corresponding to the bank angle detected by a bank angle detection device 20, from the second storage means 58, then, calculates the ground speed V during revolving time, based on the extracted radii of the wheels 5, 8 and the rotation speed v of the wheels 5, 8 detected by the wheel speed sensor 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
