PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gangway device excellent in safety capable of restraining a step difference between a bridge girder part of the gangway device equipped in a ship and an object of extending this bridge girder part, even when a wave is high.SOLUTION: A vertical distance (d) is maintained within a predetermined allowable range by rotating a bridge girder part 3 around a hinge part 2 by controlling operation of a rotary mechanism 4 by a control part 12 based on detection data by a step difference sensor 13 for detecting the vertical distance (d) between a tip part 3a of the bridge girder part 3 and an upper surface of an object T, and a user can safely transfer between the object T and a ship S even when the ship S or the object T for installing a gangway device 1 vertically rocks by preventing a step difference between the tip part 3a of the bridge girder part 3 and the upper surface of the object T from becoming excessive.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】波が荒い場合であっても、船舶に備わるギャングウェイ装置の橋桁部とこの橋桁部が架け渡される対象物との段差を抑制できる安全性に優れたギャングウェイ装置を提供する。【解決手段】橋桁部3の先端部3aと対象物Tの上面との上下距離dを検知する段差センサ13による検知データに基づいて、制御部12により回動機構4の動作を制御することで、橋桁部3をヒンジ部2を中心にして回動させて上下距離dを所定の許容範囲内に維持し、橋桁部3の先端部3aと対象物Tの上面との段差が過大になることを防止することで、ギャングウェイ装置1が設置される船舶Sあるいは対象物Tが上下揺れした場合であっても、対象物Tと船舶Sとの間を利用者が安全に乗り移ることを可能にする。【選択図】図1
