PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel rubber composition for fender capable of forming a fender with high durability, excellent in buffer performance, having high reactive force even with downsizing and especially hardly generating reduction of buffer performance or crack even when continuously used under high temperature environment over long term.SOLUTION: There is provided a rubber composition for fender containing a rubber component containing a natural rubber, 1 pt.mass to 1.5 pts.mass of sulfur and 1 pt.mass to 2 pts.mass of a sulfenamide-based accelerator based on total amount of 100 pts.mass of the rubber component and breaking elongation after a heat treatment under a condition of 100°C for 360 hours of a test piece for a tensile test consisting of a crosslinked article thereof is 100% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None

    【課題】緩衝性能に優れ、小型化しても高い反力を有する上、特に高温環境下で長期間に亘って使用し続けても緩衝性能の低下やクラックを生じにくい高耐久の防舷材を形成しうる、新規な防舷材用ゴム組成物を提供する。【解決手段】天然ゴムを含むゴム分、前記ゴム分の総量100質量部あたり、1質量部以上、1.5質量部以下の硫黄、および1質量部以上、2質量部以下のスルフェンアミド系促進剤を含み、その架橋物からなる引張試験用の試験片を100℃、360時間の条件で熱処理後の切断時伸びが100%以上である防舷材用ゴム組成物である。【選択図】なし
