PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a simple configuration for accurately detecting a pedestrian colliding with a corner portion of a vehicular front part, improving the accuracy of pedestrian collision detection.SOLUTION: As a pedestrian H collides to a zone where a sub-cushion member 22 of a bumper beam 14, the member on the outside in a vehicular width direction, is positioned, an edge portion of a bumper cover 12 in the vehicular width direction is deformed rearward of the vehicle and inward in the vehicular width direction. The sub-cushion member 22 is pushed rearward of the vehicle by an input from the bumper cover 12, and an extended portion 2204 is swing-shifted rearward of the vehicle and inward in the vehicular width direction about an end portion 2016 of a concave part 2012 of a main cushion member 20, as a pivot point, the member that abuts a base end part 2202. By the sub-cushion member 22 shifting, a side portion 2406 of a pressure tube 24 is compressed between a side surface 2006 of the main cushion member 20 and a rear surface 2212 (a pressing surface) of the extended portion 2204 of the sub-cushion member 22, and a pressure change of the pressure tube 24 is detected by a pressure detector 26.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】簡単な構成で、歩行者の車両前部のコーナー部分への衝突を精度よく検出し、歩行者衝突検出精度の向上を図る。【解決手段】歩行者Hがバンパービーム14の車幅方向外側の副緩衝材22が位置する範囲に衝突すると、バンパーカバー12の車幅方向の端部が車両後方側かつ車幅方向内側に変形する。副緩衝材22は、バンパーカバー12からの入力により車両後方へ押され、基端部2202と当接する主緩衝材20の凹部2012の縁部2016を支点として延設部2204が車両後方かつ車幅方向内側に揺動変位する。副緩衝材22の変位により圧力チューブ24の側部2406は、主緩衝材20の側面2006と副緩衝材22の延設部2204の後面2212(押圧面)との間で圧縮され、圧力検出器26により圧力チューブ24の圧力変化が検出される。【選択図】図5
