PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a crossing safety device so as not to make a railroad-crossing alarm stop undesiredly even when a passing through occurs.SOLUTION: In a crossing safety device, a detection object by an induction unit 15+16 is discriminated between an obstacle and a train before and after a train approaches a railroad-crossing 13. The train approach to the railroad-crossing is detected based on detection result of the induction unit after the train approaches an alarm starting point ADC and detection result at an end point BDC. The train advance from the railroad-crossing is detected when both of the detection results (15+16, BDC) after train approach to the railroad-crossing are failure. Time when the detection result of the induction unit is turned from success to failure is delayed by the train advance confirmation time element 500 ms. The train advance confirmation element is the coexistence settlement time obtained by dividing a maximum width of passing through by a flapping minimum speed or more. The maximum width of passing through is the maximum value of gap where detection medium of the induction unit passes under a frame of the travel train. The flapping minimum speed is the minimum value of the train traveling speed at which the detection result of an electronic train detector for the end point may be turned from success to failure caused by lifting of the wheel of the travel train from the rail.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】くぐり抜けが発生しても踏切警報が不所望には停止しないように改良する。【解決手段】感応部15+16 の検知物体を踏切13への列車進入の前後で障害物か列車か弁別し、踏切への列車進入を警報始動点ADCへの列車進入後における感応部の検知結果と終止点BDCの検知結果との双方成立にて検知し、踏切からの列車進出を踏切への列車進入後における両検知結果(15+16,BDC)の双方不成立にて検知する。更に、感応部の検知結果が成立から不成立に転ずる時間を列車進出確認時素500msの分だけ遅延させる。列車進出確認時素は、潜り最大幅を煽り最低速度で除した両立確定時間以上にする。潜り最大幅には、走行列車の台枠の下を感応部の検知媒体がくぐり抜ける隙間の最大値を採用し、煽り最低速度には、走行列車の車輪のレールからの浮き上がりに起因して終止点用踏切制御子の検知結果が成立から不成立に転ずることがある列車走行速度の最小値を採用する。【選択図】 図1
