PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel assisting device that is able to achieve, within a steering angle range desired by a user, steering to a steering angle at which the possibility of stack elimination is increased.SOLUTION: A travel assisting device provided for a vehicle in which a steering wheel is driven comprises: a power steering device; a sensor for detecting a predetermined parameter relating to a steering torque; an acquisition part; a specifying part; and a drive part. The acquisition part acquires a detection value of a predetermined parameter in a steering angle range specified by a user. On the basis of the detection value of the predetermined parameter, acquired by the acquisition part, the specifying part specifies a steering angle at which the grip of the steering wheel is made maximum in the steering angle range. The drive part drives the power steering device such that the steering angle specified by the specifying part is achieved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】 スタック解消の可能性が高まる転舵角への転舵を、ユーザが望む転舵角範囲内で実現できる走行支援装置の提供。【解決手段】 操舵輪が駆動される車両に設けられる走行支援装置は、パワーステアリング装置と、操舵トルクに関連する所定パラメータを検出するセンサと、取得部、特定部、及び駆動部と含み、取得部は、ユーザから指定される転舵角範囲にわたる所定パラメータの検出値を取得し、特定部は、取得部により取得された所定パラメータの検出値に基づいて、転舵角範囲において操舵輪のグリップが最大となる転舵角を特定し、駆動部は、特定部により特定された転舵角が実現されるようにパワーステアリング装置を駆動する。【選択図】図1
