PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fuel economy of a passenger car tire produced using a rubber composition containing an isoprene-based rubber, and to secure good durability thereof.SOLUTION: A passenger car tire has an under tread produced using a rubber composition which contains a rubber component, carbon black having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of 20-130 m/g, a C5 petroleum resin, and a compound represented by formula (I). The content of an isoprene-based rubber is 60-100 mass% in 100 mass% of the rubber component. The content of the carbon black is 15-70 pts.mass and the content of the C5 petroleum resin is 3 pts.mass or more based on 100 pts.mass of the rubber component. The content of the compound represented by formula (I) is 0.1-20 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the carbon black.SELECTED DRAWING: None

    【課題】イソプレン系ゴムを含むゴム組成物を用いて作製された乗用車用タイヤの低燃費性を改善し、さらに、良好な耐久性を確保する。【解決手段】ゴム成分と、窒素吸着比表面積が20〜130m2/gのカーボンブラックと、C5系石油樹脂と、下記式(I)で表される化合物とを含有し、前記ゴム成分100質量%中、イソプレン系ゴムの含有量が60〜100質量%であり、前記ゴム成分100質量部に対して、前記カーボンブラックの含有量が15〜70質量部、前記C5系石油樹脂の含有量が3質量部以上であり、前記カーボンブラック100質量部に対する下記式(I)で表される化合物の含有量が0.1〜20質量部であるゴム組成物を用いて作製したアンダートレッドを有する乗用車用タイヤ。[化1]【選択図】なし
