PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damping power control apparatus capable of controlling damping force preferably in accordance with the tilt component and rugged component contained in vertical vibrations on a spring.SOLUTION: A damping power control apparatus is for use in controlling damping force of a shock absorber using a control device. The control device performs: extracting, from a vertical acceleration Gzi on a spring at a position of each wheel, a first vibration component Gz1i in a first frequency range and a second vibration component Gz2i in a frequency range being higher than the first frequency range (S40, S50); computing a correction coefficient Kri that decreases with a degree of second vibration relative to a degree of first vibration (S60); and controlling a damping coefficient Ci of the shock absorber so that the damping force is consistent with a product of the correction coefficient and a target damping force Fti that is computed on the basis of the vertical acceleration on the spring (S80-S220).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】ばね上の上下振動に含まれるあおり成分及びゴツゴツ成分の比率に応じて、減衰力を好ましく制御することができる減衰力制御装置。【解決手段】制御装置によりショックアブソーバの減衰力を制御する減衰力制御装置。各車輪の位置におけるばね上の上下加速度Gziから、第一の周波数域の第一の振動の成分Gz1iと、第一の周波数域よりも高い周波数域の第二の振動の成分Gz2iと、が抽出され(S40、S50)、第一の振動の度合に対し第二の振動の度合が高いほど小さくなる補正係数Kriが演算され(S60)、減衰力がばね上の上下加速度に基づいて演算される目標減衰力Ftiと補正係数との積になるように、ショックアブソーバの減衰係数Ciが制御される(S80〜S220)。【選択図】図2
