PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device that can implement a vehicle lane guide with a logic common to a case where a travelling lane and advancement lane are different in a branch point, intersection and the like even when the travelling lane and advancement lane are the same in roads accompanied by reduction in vehicle lane, vehicle lane regulation and the like.SOLUTION: An own vehicle M is configured to: set a vehicle lane movement limit section serving as a section where a vehicle lane change to a route S cannot be made in accordance with vehicle lanes R3 and R4; and, on the basis of a location of the own vehicle and a vehicle lane being travelled by the own vehicle, when the own vehicle might enter into the set vehicle lane movement limit section, implement a guide that prompts a vehicle lane change or guide to the effect that a travelling lane is kept. The vehicle lane movement limit section is set by calculating a vehicle lane route deviation point P1 serving as an end part Z2 of a travelable lane, and vehicle lane change limit points P2 and P3 serving as a limit point for allowing the vehicle lane change to be completed short of the vehicle lane route deviation point.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7

    【課題】車線減少や車線規制等を伴う道路において走行車線と進行方向とが同じ場合であっても、分岐点や交差点等において走行車線と進行方向とが異なる場合等と共通のロジックで車線案内をすることができる電子装置を提供する。【解決手段】自車Mが、経路Sへの車線変更ができなくなる区間である車線移動限界区間を車線R3、R4に応じて設定し、自車位置および自車が走行する車線に基づき、設定された車線移動限界区間に自車が進入するおそれがある場合に、車線変更を促す案内や走行車線を維持する旨の案内を行う。車線移動限界区間の設定は、走行可能車線の末端部分Z2である車線経路逸脱ポイントP1および車線経路逸脱ポイントより手前で車線変更を完了させるための限界地点である車線変更限界ポイントP2、P3を算出することにより行う。【選択図】図7
