PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance ultraviolet irradiation efficiency and suppress increase in size of the whole device.SOLUTION: An ultraviolet irradiation device includes: a flow passage through which a fluid to be treated flows; and a plurality of linear ultraviolet lamps which are disposed in the flow passage along one direction intersecting a flowing direction of the fluid to be treated, and are disposed in the flow passage at intervals from each other in a direction different from the one direction. The lengths of the plurality of ultraviolet lamps in one direction are different according to a distance where an inner wall of the flow passage faces in the one direction at each of positions of the plurality of ultraviolet lamps.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
