PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic vehicle driving apparatus that automatically retrieves information on routes of cheaper tolls and/or shorter travel lengths on the basis of traffic information obtained from an ETC 2.0 and drives a wheeled vehicle automatically.SOLUTION: A route search calculating unit 13 of an automatic vehicle driving control apparatus 2 searches automatic driving routes from the present position to the destination based on current position information obtained from a GPS receiver 3 in response to setting of the destination, traffic information obtained by an ETC 2.0 transceiver and map information obtained from a map database 14, and extracts recommendable automatic driving routes in view of the travel time and toll rates out of those available automatic driving routes. The automatic driving control unit 15 controls a drive unit 31 on the basis of those sets of driving routes according to the choice from the extracted driving routes, and controls vehicle driving along an automatic driving route.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】ETC2.0から入手した交通情報に基づいて通行料金の安い経路や所要時間の短い経路を自動的に検索して車両の自動運転を行う自動運転装置を提供する。【解決手段】自動運転制御装置2の経路検索演算部13は、目的地の設定に応じてGPS受信機3で得られる現在位置情報、ETC2.0通信機で得られる交通情報、地図データベース14で得られる地図情報に基づき現在位置から目的地までの自動運転経路を検索し、それらの自動運転経路の内から所要時間や通行料金を考慮して推奨すべき自動運転経路を抽出し、自動運転動作制御部15は抽出された運転経路の選択に応じてその運転経路の情報に基づいて駆動部31を制御して自動運転経路に沿って運転制御を行う。【選択図】図1
