PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain operation timing of a direction indicator capable of coping with a change in a road environment.SOLUTION: A direction indicator operation timing calculation device 1 receives a processing request including vehicle state information and external information from an object vehicle intending to turn right or left, receives traffic situations at a vehicle position of the vehicle state information from a traffic situation analysis device 3, and makes the traffic situations included in the external information. Then, it searches for vehicle state information and external information in the storage device the same as or similar to the vehicle state information and external information in the processing request, and calculates right operation timing of the direction indicator for the object vehicle on the basis of travel distance included in the vehicle state information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】道路環境の変化に対応可能な方向指示器の動作タイミングを得る。【解決手段】方向指示器動作タイミング計算装置1は、右折または左折を予定する対象車両から車両状態情報及び外部情報を含む処理要求を受信し、車両状態情報の車両位置の交通状況を交通状況解析装置3から受信し、外部情報に交通状況を含ませる。そして、処理要求における車両状態情報及び外部情報と同じまたは類似する記憶装置内の車両状態情報及び外部情報を検索し、車両状態情報に含まれる走行距離に基づいて、対象車両にとって適切な方向指示器の動作タイミングを計算する。【選択図】図4
