PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To roll a terminal part of a skin in a base material without reloading an intermediate product passed through a trimming step.SOLUTION: In a size enlargement step, a pre-molded base material 12 is mounted on a vacuum molding die 31 in a rear face 18 of the base material 12, further, a skin material 20 is arranged on the side of a surface 17 of the base material 12, thereafter, the skin material 20 is sucked through the vacuum molding die 31 and the base material 12, thus a main part 22 of the skin material 20 is deformed so as to be adhered to the surface 17 of the base material 12. In a trimming step following the size enlargement step, while retaining the base material 12 to a state of being mounted on the vacuum molding die 31, a residual part 24 not adhered to the surface 17 in the skin material 20 is cut with a trim blade 46 in such a manner that a terminal part 23 is left around the main part 22, thus a skin 21 having the terminal part 23 is formed. In a rolling-in step following the trimming step, while retaining the base material 12 to a state of being mounted on the vacuum molding die 31, the terminal part 23 of the skin 21 is rolled in the side of the rear face 18 of the base material 12 by a rolling-in mechanism 35.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】トリミング工程を経た中間製品を載せ替えることなく、表皮の端末部を基材に巻込む。【解決手段】賦形工程では、予め成形された基材12を、同基材12の裏面18において真空成形型31に装着するとともに、同基材12の表面17側に表皮材20を配置した後、真空成形型31及び基材12を通じて表皮材20を吸引することで、同表皮材20の主要部22を基材12の表面17に密着するように変形させる。賦形工程の次のトリミング工程では、基材12を真空成形型31に装着された状態に維持しつつ、表皮材20のうち表面17に密着していない余剰部分24を、主要部22の周囲に端末部23が残るようにトリム刃46で切断することにより、端末部23を有する表皮21を形成する。トリミング工程の次の巻込み工程では、基材12を真空成形型31に装着された状態に維持しつつ、表皮21の端末部23を巻込み機構35により基材12の裏面18側に巻込む。【選択図】図5
