PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank system which accurately detects perforation by using a single pressure sensor.SOLUTION: An atmosphere release pipe 62, a negative pressure acting pipe 70 and a reference pipe 74 are arranged between a canister 14 and an atmosphere port 64. At the detection of perforation, an electromagnetic cutoff valve 66 is brought into a full-closed state, a pressure difference between the pressure of the whole of a system and atmospheric pressure is compared with a threshold as primary detection, and when the pressure difference is not larger than the threshold, secondary detection is performed. The reference pressure is detected by switching the electromagnetic cutoff valve 66 to a reference state, driving a key-off pump 72, and making negative pressure act on the reference pipe 74. Arrival pressure is detected by switching the electromagnetic cutoff valve 66 to a perforation detection state, driving the key-off pump 72, and supplying the negative pressure to the whole of a fuel tank system 10, and when the arrival pressure is higher than the reference pressure (when the negative pressure is low), the occurrence of the perforation is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10

    【課題】圧力センサ一つで精度良く穴あき検知を行う燃料タンクシステムを提供する。【解決手段】キャニスタ14と大気口64の間には、大気開放管62、負圧作用管70、リファレンス管74が配設されている。穴あき検知時には、一次検出として、電磁切換弁66を全閉状態としてシステム全体の圧力と大気圧との差圧と閾値を比較し、差圧が閾値以下の場合には二次検出を行う。すなわち、電磁切換弁66をリファレンス状態に切り換えてキーオフポンプ72を駆動してリファレンス管74に負圧を作用させてリファレンス圧力を検出すると共に、電磁切換弁66を穴あき検出状態に切り換えてキーオフポンプ72を駆動して燃料タンクシステム10の全体に負圧を供給して到達圧力を検出し、到達圧力がリファレンス圧力よりも大きい(負圧が小さい)場合に、穴あきありと検出する。【選択図】図10
