PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle width measurement device that can be arranged even in a toll gate having a limited arrangement space, and also to provide a vehicle width measurement method and a program.SOLUTION: A vehicle width measurement device includes: a first vehicle detection section having a first light projection part capable of projecting first inspection light and a first light receiving part capable of receiving reflected light of the first inspection light; a vehicle detection determination section for detecting a vehicle on the basis of the reflected light of the first inspection light; a second vehicle detection section having a light projection part capable of projecting inspection light inclined toward a lane direction with respect to a width direction of a lane and a light receiving part capable of receiving reflected light of the inspection light; a reflection part for changing an advance direction of the inspection light by causing the inspection light projected from the light projection part; to be regularly reflected; and a vehicle width calculation section for measuring a vehicle width of the vehicle on the basis of a first detection result obtained by detecting the reflected light from a first side surface of the vehicle and a second detection result obtained by detecting the reflected light from a second side surface of the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
