PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compactable motor with a speed reduction mechanism capable of suppressing dimensional increase in a direction crossing an axial direction of the motor with the speed reduction mechanism.SOLUTION: A motor with a speed reduction mechanism includes a first-stage first reduction mechanism comprising a first warm and a first helical gear, and a second-stage second speed reduction mechanism comprising a second warm and a second helical gear 71, wherein an armature shaft 34 and an output shaft 70 having a first connection part 72 are parallel with each other, and between the armature shaft 34 and the first connection part 72 in a gear case 41, a recess groove 42e allowing proximity between the armature shaft 34 and the first connection part 72 is provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
