PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably retain a spare tire.SOLUTION: A spare tire retention structure has a first cross member and a second cross member tightened between two side members. A spare tire hoisted by a hoisting mechanism is abutted on a first abutment part of the first cross member and a second abutment part of the second cross member in order to retain the spare tire. The first abutment part has a first projection which juts out below the second abutment part and against which the spare tire abuts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
