PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an upper support in novel structure capable of obtaining high tuning freedom for a spring property of a main body rubber elastic body.SOLUTION: An upper support 10 comprises an inner member 12 of which the inner peripheral end is fixed while being extrapolated to an upper end portion of a piston rod 40, and a main body rubber elastic body 16 that is fixed to the inner member 12 includes a tapered support face 26 of which the diameter is reduced towards an upper side. A body side mounting part 52 of a vehicle body 42 is put on the tapered support face 26 of the main body rubber elastic body 16, such that the main body rubber elastic body 16 is interposed between the piston rod 40 and the vehicle body 42 while being compressed by a partial support load of the vehicle body 42. In the upper support, the inner member 12 includes a fixing member 32 including a cylindrical part 34 that is disposed in an extrapolation state in such a manner that the piston rod 40 is enclosed at a separated position. 【課題】本体ゴム弾性体のばね特性のチューニング自由度を大きく得ることができる、新規な構造のアッパサポートを提供すること。【解決手段】ピストンロッド40の上端部分に外挿された状態で内周端部が固定されるインナ部材12を備えていると共に、インナ部材12に固着された本体ゴム弾性体16が上側へ向けて小径となるテーパ支持面26を備えており、本体ゴム弾性体16のテーパ支持面26に車両ボデー42のボデー側取付部52が載せられることにより、本体ゴム弾性体16が車両ボデー42の分担支持荷重によって圧縮された状態で、ピストンロッド40と車両ボデー42の間に介装されるアッパサポート10において、ピストンロッド40の周囲を離れた位置で取り囲むように外挿状態で配される筒状部34を備えた固着部材32がインナ部材12に設けられており、固着部材32の筒状部34が本体ゴム弾性体16の内周部分に固着されている。【選択図】図3
