PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power source system for an electric motor vehicle that enables the vehicle to travel between both sections: an electrified section and an unelectrified section, which is configured to reduce a rigging space required to correspond to the unelectrified section.SOLUTION: An electric power source system PS for an electric motor vehicle comprises: an auxiliary circuit XMC connected to a DC power line through which DC power of a first voltage is supplied based on electric power collected from a pantagraph PT; and main conversion circuits TCA and TCB which are connected to the DC power line through main opening/closing devices SWA and SWB to supply electric power for driving a main motor M, which further comprises: a first reactor FL1; a charging/discharging voltage conversion circuit PC connected to the DC power line through the first reactor FL1; a second reactor FL2; a storage battery BT, connected to the charging/discharging voltage conversion circuit PC through the second reactor FL2, whose storage battery voltage is a second voltage different from the first voltage; and a third opening/closing device SW3 in which the storage battery BT is connected to an intermediate part between the main opening/closing devices SWA and SWB and the main conversion circuits TCA and TCB.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
