PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump type vehicular air-conditioning system capable of generating hot air in an indoor unit immediately after start of defrosting operation, a defrosting processing method and a control program for the vehicular air-conditioning system.SOLUTION: A vehicular air-conditioning system includes: a refrigerant system P1; a hot water system P2; a refrigerant indoor system P4; an engine cooling water system P3; and a mode switching section for selectively switching between a normal operation mode of radiating heat that has been absorbed in an outdoor heat exchanger 13 and undergone heat exchange by a water/refrigerant heat exchanger 11 by using a heater 15 with a refrigerant opening/closing section closed and a defrosting operation mode of radiating heat that has been absorbed by an evaporator 14 by using the outdoor heat exchanger 13 with the refrigerant opening/closing section and a four-way valve V4 of a hot water opening/closing section opened. The mode switching section includes: a hot water flow passage switching section for opening the four-way valve V4 on the basis of a temperature of engine cooling water; and a refrigerant flow passage switching section for opening the refrigerant opening/closing section after the four-way valve V4 is operated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
