PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of eliminating a host management system, with which conveying of a wagon is started from an arbitrary place to deliver the wagon to a destination.SOLUTION: A conveyance system with which a plurality of AGVs each convey a wagon is disclosed. According to this system, the AGVs each comprise a movement mechanism for making each AGV travel in a predetermined traveling direction, a connection mechanism for connecting the wagon, a sensor for acquiring detection information that is present ahead in the traveling direction, and a controller for controlling the movement mechanism and the connection mechanism. The controller performs control to move an AGV to a position of the wagon by the movement mechanism, to connect the AGV with the wagon by the connection mechanism, and to convey the wagon connected by the movement mechanism to a predetermined position, when recognizing presence of the wagon based on the detection information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】上位の管理システムを省略可能としつつ、任意の場所から、ワゴンの搬送を開始し、行き先まで配送するシステムを提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】複数のAGVがワゴンを搬送する搬送システムが開示される。このシステムでは、AGVのそれぞれは、AGVを所定の走行方向に走行させる移動機構と、ワゴンを連結する連結機構と、走行方向の前方の検知情報を取得するセンサと、移動機構および連結機構を制御するコントローラとを備える。コントローラは、検知情報に基づいてワゴンの存在を認識した際に、移動機構によりAGVをワゴンの位置まで移動し、連結機構によりAGVとワゴンを連結し、移動機構により連結したワゴンを所定の位置まで搬送する、制御を行う。【選択図】 図1
