To prevent a seal material from falling due to breakdown of vulcanized adhesive, in performing coating or plating on a surface of a hub unit bearing in an assembled state.SOLUTION: A hub unit bearing 1 is configured to close an axial end part opening of an internal space 13 where a rolling body 4 is arranged, and internally fits and fixes a seal ring 14a to an axial outer end part of an outer ring 2a, in which the seal ring is configured such that a seal material 32 is molded on a core grid 30 with vulcanization adhesion. On an outer surface of the hub unit bearing 1, rust prevention treatment such as coating or plating is performed. An adhesion surface of the seal material 32 and the core grid 30 is not exposed on an outer surface of the seal ring 14a contacting with an external space.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】組み立てた状態のハブユニット軸受の表面に塗装やメッキを施す際に、加硫接着剤が破壊されてシール材が脱落するのを防止する。【解決手段】ハブユニット軸受1は、転動体4を配置した内部空間13の軸方向端部開口を塞ぎ、芯金30にシール材32が加硫接着成形されたシールリング14aを、外輪2aの軸方向外端部に内嵌固定している。ハブユニット軸受1の外面には、塗装またはメッキなどの防錆処理が施されており、シール材32と芯金30との接着面が、外部空間と接するシールリング14aの外面に露出していない。【選択図】図2
