To provide a vehicular body front section structure for a cab-over type vehicle capable of suppressing a deformation of a cabin by efficiently transmitting collision energy from the cabin to a chassis frame when the vehicle collides, and of securing a certain occupant accommodation space.SOLUTION: A vehicular body front section structure includes: a chassis frame 3; a cabin frame 4; and a collision energy transmitting mechanism 5 that transmits, when a vehicle 1 collides, collision energy acting on the cabin frame to the chassis frame. The cabin frame includes: side members 4a and 4c provided as a pair at both sides in a vehicle widthwise direction, and extending in a vehicle back-and-forth direction; and a cross member 4b which extends in the vehicle widthwise direction and which is provided across the pair of side members. The collision energy transmitting mechanism includes a stopper 17 which is provided so as to face the cross member from the rearward side of the vehicle, and which is fastened to the chassis frame at a position capable of contacting the cross member when the cabin frame moves backward.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
