To provide a toothed crown for a bicycle crank set, which is reduced in weight without deteriorating the structural resistance and structural strength.SOLUTION: An annular body 101 has a maximum axial thickness equal to the distance between two main planes which are parallel to each other and orthogonal to a reference plane R. The maximum axial thickness is formed at first angular portions 141, 142 of the annular body 101. The first angular portion 141 of the annular body 101 has a first lightening recess 181, 182 formed on the axially-outer surface. The first angular portion 141 extends circumferentially between two delimiting planes K, L which pass through the rotation axis O and are inclined with respect to the reference plane R on the axially-outer surface by a first angle within a range between about 21° and about 27° and by a second angle within a range between about 67° and about 73°, respectively, as measured angularly in the clockwise direction from the reference plane R.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
