To provide a vehicle air resistance reduction system that can improve fuel economy of a vehicle by adjusting an undulation angle of an undulation device at vehicle traveling, and to provide a vehicle air resistance reduction method.SOLUTION: A vehicle air resistance reduction system includes: acquiring output from a drive source of a vehicle during vehicle traveling; and adjusting an angle undulating on an outside relative to an outside surface to an air resistance reduction angle α for reducing air resistance of the vehicle using an undulation device 6 that is provided at an outside surface of a cab 3 positioned on a front side of the vehicle based on an increase or decrease of the acquired output.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】車両走行時に起伏装置の起伏する角度を調節して、車両の燃費を向上させることができる車両の空気抵抗低減システム及び車両の空気抵抗低減方法を提供する。【解決手段】車両の走行中にその車両の駆動源の出力を取得する。そして、取得したその出力の増減に基づいて、車両の前方のキャブ3の外表面に設けた起伏装置6がこの外表面に対して外側に起伏する角度を車両の空気抵抗を低減する空気抵抗低減角度αに調節する。【選択図】図4
