To provide a fuel cell system of electric vehicle restraining electrode catalyst deterioration by circumventing high potential holding of the fuel cell, when bringing the fuel cell for range extender into idling state.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system of electric vehicle including a fuel cell 3 and a secondary cell 5, and mainly driven with power of the secondary cell further includes a hydrogen recirculation passage 41 for circulating the fuel electrode outlet gas of the fuel cell to the inlet side of the fuel electrode, a hydrogen recirculation pump 43 provided in the hydrogen recirculation passage and pressure feeding the recirculation hydrogen to the inlet side of the fuel electrode, and a stop processing control section 19 for starting power generation stop processing of the fuel cell on the basis of SOC of the secondary cell, and as a part of the stop processing, supplying dilution off-gas hydrogen, i.e., the off-gas hydrogen discharged from the fuel cell and diluted with air, to the hydrogen recirculation passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】本発明の少なくとも一つの実施形態は、レンジエクステンダー用の燃料電池をアイドリング状態にする際に、燃料電池の高電位化保持を回避して電極触媒劣化を抑制する電動車両の燃料電池システムを提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】燃料電池3と二次電池5とを備え、二次電池の電力によって主に駆動される電動車両の燃料電池システムであって、燃料電池の燃料極出口ガスを燃料極の入口側に循環させる水素再循環通路41と、水素再循環通路に設けられ再循環水素を燃料極の入口側に圧送する水素再循環ポンプ43と、二次電池のSOCに基づいて燃料電池の発電の停止処理を開始し、該停止処理の一部として、燃料電池から排出されたオフガス水素を空気で希釈した希釈オフガス水素を水素再循環通路へ供給する停止処理制御部19と、を備えることを特徴。【選択図】図1
