To reduce a size of a motor without excessively improving voltage resistance performance of a power conversion device in a motor system connected to a rotary shaft of a supercharger.SOLUTION: A motor system 1 comprises: a motor 30 which is connected to a rotary shaft of a supercharger 10; a power conversion device which supplies power to the motor 30; a contactor 50 which switches connection and disconnection of the motor 30 and the power conversion device; and a control device 40 which controls the contactor 50. The control device 40 includes: a first control unit which determines whether or not a rotation speed of the motor 30 is higher than or equal to a first threshold; and a second control unit which determines whether or not a rotation speed of the motor is higher than or equal to a second threshold that is set to a greater value than the first threshold. In a case where it is discriminated that the rotation speed of the motor is higher than or equal to the first threshold or the second threshold, the contactor 50 is brought into an open state in such a manner that the connection of the motor 30 and the power conversion device is cut off.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】過給機の回転軸に連結される電動機システムにおいて、電力変換装置の耐電圧性能を過度に上げることなく、電動機のサイズを低減すること。【解決手段】電動機システム1は、過給機10の回転軸に連結される電動機30と、電動機30に電力を供給する電力変換装置と、電動機30と電力変換装置との接続及び切断を切り替えるコンタクタ50と、コンタクタ50を制御する制御装置40とを備えている。制御装置40は、電動機30の回転数が第1閾値以上であるか否かを判定する第1制御部と、電動機の回転数が第1閾値よりも大きな値に設定された第2閾値以上であるか否かを判定する第2制御部とを備え、電動機の回転数が第1閾値または第2閾値以上であると判定された場合に、電動機30と電力変換装置との接続を切断するようにコンタクタ50を開状態とする。【選択図】図2
