To provide a holding device capable of improving the reliability of suction and holding operation, a flight body, and a conveyance system.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, a holding device includes a suction device, an adsorption part, a light quantity sensor, a control device. The suction device sucks gas. The adsorption part communicates with the suction device, and adsorbs an object by suction of the suction device. The light quantity sensor two-dimensionally detects light quantity of the object. The control device controls the suction device on the basis of information detected by the light quantity sensor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
