To provide a vehicle collision energy absorption component with improved impact energy absorption effect when a collision load is input from the front or rear of the vehicle body and the shaft is crushed to absorb the collision energy.SOLUTION: A vehicle collision energy absorption component 1 of the invention, comprises: a cylindrical member 3 that is provided at the front or rear of the vehicle body and absorbs collision energy when collision load is input from the front or rear of the vehicle body for absorbing collision energy by shaft collapse; and a resin 9 filled in the cylindrical member 3, in which the resin 9 is bonded to the peripheral wall part of the cylindrical member 3 with an adhesive strength of 10 MPa or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
