To provide a control device and a control method for a power supply system capable of stabilizing a power supply system by surely suppressing fluctuations of a load on a generator, and a power supply system for an electric propulsion ship using the same.SOLUTION: A control device (1) for a power supply system comprises: a plurality of apparatuses including a generator (13) and a plurality of loads (12); a load variation detection unit (6) for detecting operation variations of a load; a database (5) in which information on operation variations of a load and information on a control method for suppressing load variations of a generator are mapped and accumulated; a database processing unit (7) for retrieving the database and extracting a control method according to operation fluctuations of the load; and a control method searching unit (9) for searching a control method for instructing any of a plurality of apparatuses in order to suppress load fluctuations of the generator based on the extracted control method.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
