To provide a rubber composition for a winter tire tread which is excellent in wet performance and performance on ice and snow roads when formed into a tire, and to provide a winter pneumatic tire using the rubber composition for a winter tire tread.SOLUTION: The rubber composition for a winter tire tread contains: a conjugated diene rubber containing 30 mass% or more of a specific conjugated diene rubber; a plasticizer containing a specific plasticizer; silica; and a silane coupling agent. The content of the specific plasticizer is 5 pts.mass or more based on 100 pts.mass of the conjugated diene rubber. The content of the silica is 30 pts.mass or more based on 100 pts.mass of the conjugated diene rubber. The content of the silane coupling agent is 3-30 mass% based on the content of the silica. The specific plasticizer is a plasticizer having a glass transition temperature of -50°C or lower. The average glass transition temperature of the conjugated diene rubber and the plasticizer is lower than -50°C. The winter pneumatic tire includes a tire tread part produced using the rubber composition for a winter tire tread.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】本発明は、タイヤにしたときのウェット性能およびタイヤにしたときの氷雪路上性能に優れる冬用タイヤトレッド用ゴム組成物、並びに、上記冬用タイヤトレッド用ゴム組成物を用いた冬用空気入りタイヤを提供する。【解決手段】特定共役ジエン系ゴムを30質量%以上含む共役ジエン系ゴムと、特定可塑剤を含む可塑剤と、シリカと、シランカップリング剤とを含有し、特定可塑剤の含有量が共役ジエン系ゴム100質量部に対して5質量部以上であり、シリカの含有量が共役ジエン系ゴム100質量部に対して30質量部以上であり、シランカップリング剤の含有量がシリカの含有量に対して、3〜30質量%であり、特定可塑剤がガラス転移温度が−50℃以下である可塑剤であり、共役ジエン系ゴムと可塑剤との平均ガラス転移温度が−50℃よりも低い、冬用タイヤトレッド用ゴム組成物、並びに、冬用タイヤトレッド用ゴム組成物を用いて製造されたタイヤトレッド部を備える冬用空気入りタイヤ。【選択図】図1
