To provide an impurity removal system for a towed vehicle, which removes impurity and can improve safety of the towed vehicle by allowing compressed air to be distributed even when an operation error occurs.SOLUTION: An oil separator 2 for a towed vehicle includes housing 3 provided with an inlet portion 30, an outlet portion 31, a communication portion 32 allowing communication between the inlet portion 30 and the outlet portion 31, and a valve portion 33 disposed in the communication portion 32 in a valve closed state where distribution of compressed air between the inlet portion 30 and the outlet portion 31 is limited, configured to, when a pressure difference of the inlet portion 30 to the outlet portion 31 is higher than a first predetermined value, shift to a first valve opened state where the compressed air is allowed to be distributed from the inlet portion 30 not via a filter cartridge 4 to the outlet portion 31, and configured to, when a pressure difference of the inlet portion 30 to the outlet portion 31 is higher than a second predetermined value, shift to a second valve opened state where the compressed air is allowed to be distributed from the outlet portion 31 not via the filter cartridge 4 to the inlet portion 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
