To obtain a charging system which can effectively use excess power to be generated in a power generation facility of a user to charge an electric automobile which is owned by the user.SOLUTION: A charging system concerning the present invention comprises: a charger 31 which can charge an EV4; and a server 11 which transmits excess power amount data representing an excess power amount of a power generation amount generated by a power generation facility of a user to the charger 31 installed at a remote place of the power generation facility, in which the charger 31 charges the EV4 on the basis of the excess power amount data received from the server 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
