To improve lateral impact performance by increasing strength of the battery case of an electric vehicle.SOLUTION: A case sidewall 31d directing the vehicle width direction outside of a battery case 31 includes more than one fixing portions 31g projecting the vehicle width direction outside and fixed to the car body, and a coupling wall 31h formed into surface shape facing the case sidewall 31d and coupling the more than one fixing portions 31g in the cross direction. Since the fixing portions 31g and the coupling wall 31h are formed integrally with the battery case 31, when collision load of lateral collision is inputted to the battery case 31, the space surrounded by two fixing portions 31g, the coupling wall 31h and the case sidewall 31d is collapsed and collision energy can be absorbed effectively. Furthermore, since the fixing portions 31g and the coupling wall 31h are formed integrally with the battery case 31 made by metal die casting, not only the number of components can be reduced, but also the rigidity of the battery case 31 is increased by the fixing portions 31g and the coupling wall 31h.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
【課題】 電動車両のバッテリケースの強度を増加させて耐側面衝突性能を高める。【解決手段】 バッテリケース31の車幅方向外側を向くケース側壁31dは、車幅方向外側に突出して車体に固定される少なくとも二つの固定部31gと、ケース側壁31dに対向する面形状に形成されて少なくとも二つの固定部31gを前後方向に連結する連結壁31hとを備え、固定部31gおよび連結壁31hはバッテリケース31と一体に形成されるので、側面衝突の衝突荷重がバッテリケース31に入力したとき、二つの固定部31g、連結壁31hおよびケース側壁31dに囲まれた空間が潰れることで衝突エネルギーを効果的に吸収することができる。しかも固定部31gおよび連結壁31hは金属ダイキャスト製のバッテリケース31と一体に形成されるので、部品点数の削減が可能になるだけでなく、固定部31gおよび連結壁31hでバッテリケース31の剛性が高められる。【選択図】 図7
