To improve rigidity and strength in a region between a front cross member and a rear cross member.SOLUTION: A rear subframe construction comprises: a pair of left and right vertical members 18, 18 which extend in a longitudinal vehicle direction; and a front cross member 20 and a rear cross member 22 which extend along a vehicle width direction between the vertical members, and are spaced at a prescribed interval along the longitudinal vehicle direction. Each vertical member 18 has a protrusion part 26 which bulges in a downward direction crossing a longitudinal direction of the vertical member 18 in a region between the front cross member 20 and the rear cross member 22. A dimension (H2) of the protrusion part 26 in the vehicle width direction is smaller than a dimension (H1) of the vertical member 18 in the vehicle width direction (H1>H2).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
