To reduce a difference between a load for rotating a rotating body upward and a load for rotating the rotating body downward.SOLUTION: In a vehicle door mirror device, when a driving body 18 is rotated upward, a gear plate 34 is moved downward to reduce biasing force of a coil spring 38 against the driving body 18, meanwhile when the driving body 18 is rotated downward, the gear plate 34 is moved upward to increase biasing force of the coil spring 38 against the driving body 18. Therefore, a difference between a load for rotating the driving body 18 upward and a load for rotating the driving body 18 downward can be reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】回動体を上側に回動させる負荷と回動体を下側に回動させる負荷との差を小さくする。【解決手段】車両用ドアミラー装置では、駆動体18が上側に回動される際に、ギアプレート34が下側に移動されて、コイルスプリング38の駆動体18に対する付勢力が減少される。一方、駆動体18が下側に回動される際に、ギアプレート34が上側に移動されて、コイルスプリング38の駆動体18に対する付勢力が増加される。このため、駆動体18を上側に回動させるための負荷と駆動体18を下側に回動させるための負荷との差を小さくできる。【選択図】図3
