To provide a rubber composition for a tire side wall, to be served as a raw material of a pneumatic tire with improved fatigue resistance performance while reducing an odor characteristic of rubber.SOLUTION: A rubber composition for a tire side wall includes 1.0-10 pts.mass of composite powder containing a persimmon extract and a sodium carbonate based on 100 pts.mass of a total amount of a rubber constituent. In the composite powder, a mass ratio of the persimmon extract and the sodium carbonate is preferably 1:1-5:1. An amount of an active ingredient of the persimmon extract in the composite powder is preferably 0.01-8.0 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the total amount of the rubber constituent.SELECTED DRAWING: None

    【課題】ゴム特有の臭気を低減しつつ、かつ耐疲労性能を向上させた空気入りタイヤの原料となるタイヤサイドウォール用ゴム組成物を提供すること。【解決手段】ゴム成分全量を100質量部としたとき、柿抽出物と炭酸ナトリウムとを含む複合粉末を1.0〜10質量部含有するタイヤサイドウォール用ゴム組成物。複合粉末中、柿抽出物と前記炭酸ナトリウムとの質量比率が1:1〜5:1であることが好ましい。また、ゴム成分全量を100質量部としたとき、複合粉末中の前記柿抽出物の有効成分量が0.01〜8.0質量部であることが好ましい。【選択図】 なし
