To provide a suspended load turning system capable of suppressing the swing in a turning direction of a suspended load and the twisting of a rope even when the suspended load suspended from a crane is turned around a vertical axis line.SOLUTION: A control device 20 of a suspended load turning system 1 includes a motor part 12 rotating a suspended load 3 around a vertical axis line 2c, and a clutch part 13 transmitting or cutting off the power of the motor part 12 to the suspended load 3. The control device derives a driving pattern of the motor part 12 and a switching timing of the clutch part 13 until a turning angle of the suspended load 3 reaches a target turning angle by using a mathematical model showing a turning movement of the suspended load 3 in the case where the clutch part 13 is in an ON-state or OFF-state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
