To provide a manufacturing method for a press formed article which adds appropriate strengths to a plurality of areas of a press formed article and eliminates restrictions of a heating condition in hot press.SOLUTION: First and second reinforcing steel plates 2, 3 are superimposed in a plate thickness direction in different areas of a body steel plate 1, the respective superimposed parts are spot-welded, and superimposition blanks 5 bonded at a spot-weld part 4 are formed. Next, the superimposition blanks 5 are heated at austenite transformation temperature (Ac3) or higher at a heating furnace 6. Then, the superimposition blanks 5 are press molded between a lower mold and an upper mold of a pressing device 7 and rapidly cooled from temperature higher than ferrite transformation start temperature (Ar3) to temperature equal or below martensitic transformation completion temperature (Mf).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】プレス成形品の複数の領域をそれぞれ適切な強度に補強することに加えて、熱間プレスにおける加熱条件の制約を無くしたプレス成形品の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】本体鋼板1の異なる領域にそれぞれ第1及び第2の補強鋼板2,3を板厚方向に重ね合わせ、それぞれの重ね合わせ部分をスポット溶接し、スポット溶接部4において接合された重ね合わせブランク5を形成する。次に、重ね合わせブランク5を加熱炉6でオーステナイト変態温度(Ac3)以上の温度に加熱する。次に、重ね合わせブランク5をプレス装置7の下金型と上金型の間に挟んでプレス成形すると同時に、フェライト変態開始温度(Ar3)より高い温度からマルテンサイト変態終了温度(Mf)以下の温度まで急冷する。【選択図】図1
