To provide a rubber composition for tires capable of improving wet grip properties and low rolling resistance of a tire in a well-balanced manner.SOLUTION: The rubber composition for tires according to the present invention contains a diene rubber, silica, and a silane compound represented by formula (1). The diene rubber contains at least one of an aromatic vinyl-conjugated diene copolymer rubber and a conjugated diene (co)polymer rubber. The average glass transition temperature of the diene rubber is -50°C or higher and lower than -20°C. The content of the silane compound is 0.5 pt.mass or more and 30 pts.mass or less based on 100 pts.mass of the silica.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
