To provide a vehicle exterior device which can secure waterproofness while achieving space saving.SOLUTION: A vehicle exterior device 1 includes: a base member 10; a cover 12 which is attached to the base member 10 in a water-tight manner, forms a storage space S with the base member 10, and has at least one opening 16; a functional unit 28 including a holder 50 disposed at the base member 10 in the storage space S and a functional component 20 supported by the holder 50 so that a tip is exposed to the opening 16; and a seal part 56 disposed between an outer surface of the functional unit 28 and an inner surface of the cover 12 at a periphery of the opening 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
