To provide a snow accretion prevention system for a railroad vehicle capable of continuously monitoring a snow accretion state and easily removing snow accretion only on a required portion without wasting energy such as electric power.SOLUTION: A snow accretion prevention system 10 for a railroad vehicle S includes a snow melting heater device 2, which melts snow or iced snow TS accreted to an inner wall side of a rear wall part 11 positioned in a rear side in a vehicle traveling direction in a carriage skirt part 1, on an outer wall side of the rear wall part 11. The carriage skirt part includes a snow accretion sensor 3 for constantly detecting snow or iced snow accreted to the inner wall side of the rear wall part and a high pressure air blower 4 for forcibly removing snow or iced snow accreted to the inner wall side of the rear wall part. One or both of the snow melting heater device and the high-pressure air blower is/are activated based on image information about snow accretion state detected by the snow accretion sensor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】電力等のエネルギーを無駄に使うことなく、着雪状況を常時監視し、必要な箇所のみ着雪を簡単に除去することができる鉄道車両の着雪防止システムを提供すること。【解決手段】台車スカート部1における車両進行方向の後方に位置する後壁部11の内壁側に付着する雪又は氷雪TSを融解させる融雪ヒータ装置2を後壁部11の外壁側に備えた鉄道車両Sの着雪防止システム10である。台車スカート部には、後壁部の内壁側に付着する雪又は氷雪を常時検出する着雪センサ3と、後壁部の内壁側に付着する雪又は氷雪を強制的に脱落させる高圧エア吹付装置4とを備え、着雪センサが検出した着雪状況の画像情報に基づいて、融雪ヒータ装置と高圧エア吹付装置の何れか又は双方を稼働させる。【選択図】 図2
